November 23, 2009 - Following 35 events on the 2009 NASCAR Nationwide Series schedule, Specialty Racing finished in the top-30 in the Official Owner Standings. The year-end result provides the team with a secured starting position for the first five races of the 2010 schedule.
"We are extremely proud of all the hard work from everyone involved with the operation this season," said Co-Owner Doug Taylor. "We had a 12th place finish at Bristol and a 15th at Daytona, which is a great accomplishment for an independent team. Our overall performance picked up from the 2008 season and we look forward to carrying that momentum forward to 2010. We're currently in discussions with potential sponsors for next season and remain hopeful we'll secure a sponsor to continue our growth and further our performance capabilities."
